Extra public transport to be launched on Dead Remembrance Day
On the Dead Remembrance Day, there will be additional runs on tram route No. 11 and on trolleybus route no. 24, as well as on bus routes No. 11, 19, 20, 29, 36, 39 and 48. Trams on route No. 11 will run with a 5 minutes interval, buses on route No. 11 will run with a 15 – 30 minutes interval, buses on route No. 19 – with a 15 – 30 minutes interval, buses on route No. 20 – with a 35 minutes interval, buses on route No. 29 – with a 15 – 35 minutes interval, buses on route No. 36 – with a 13 minutes interval, buses on route No. 39 – with a 22 minutes interval, buses on route No. 48 – with a 15 minutes interval and trolleybuses on route No. 24 – with a 20 minutes interval.
The extra runs will not affect the ordinary ones, except for tram route No. 11, whose schedule will be changed in the midday.
From 8:34 till 18:38 all buses No.11 and 19 will go through the roundabout circle near Jaunciems cemetery.
On bus routes No. 9, 11, 12, 13, 19, 20, 29, 37, 48 and 52 and on trolleybus route No. 19 vehicles of bigger capacity will be running for passengers’ comfort.
The schedules of extra runs will be available on "Rīgas satiksme" website at www.rigassatiksme.lv, as well as at terminals and at public transport stops in the city centre.
